A life without you I can never imagine
A face like yours can never be forgotten
You've been the crux of my thought for so many years
Suddenly everything falling apart and tears my heart
I've never thought of a time when you'll never be mine
May be I never took into account what you really desired
I feel sorry at times for making a mockery of our sweet friendship
Sometimes I've thought we can go beyond that line
Sometimes I've thought you desired it too but I was wrong
Destiny exposes my lonely soul to the scavenging reality
I'm unsure of life without you in it please guide my soul
Its a cruel twist of fate as we grow
I'll pray in next birth we're united
A life without you is not a life at all
..but a living death but I'll live to dream of you everyday

well i can really understand how you feel. i lost 2 of my closest friends in one day and it sucked to know that i no longer had my best friend to turn to when i needed something. you poem is beautifully written.

i to have felt this as Erin knows i lost the love of my life about three years ago. her name was Melissa and she was gunned down by a rivel gang of ours in Jacksonville. and i guess thats why i love this so. thanks for posting it. i loved it as i loved and still love her. and if you wish and only if you wish i'll be posting a poem about her in a few days read it if you like.
