Hey you guys, I wonder is anyone has had the same experience as I have with my ex? Read on please...

Love is a painful game,
The passion, the tears, the pain...
But you stood the test of time,
I was proud to say you were mine.

Love embraced us into one,
The problems we faced have now gone,
We battled through the negativity to reach goals,
We had so much to give from our souls.

Love is so hard to define,
But true love is possibly divine,
We worked together and stood strong,
we never stopped to wonder if we were wrong.

Love can be a shameful game,
Why did you ruin your good name?
For the sake of a one night stand in her bed,
That one night of passion has tantalized my head.

Love is a delicate word,
your affair with her is all I've heard,
You have shamed me to my peers,
Now all I have is tears.

Love can last a lifetime,
Your destiny hangs on a lifeline,
Did she boost your self-esteem?
To me she did nothing but break up a team.

Love always lingers,
I feel it in my fingers,
But you're no longer in my life,
I moved on out of this strife!

Well, I'm pretty sure that I understand where you are coming from on this. We can't let the bad things that happen totally over rule the positive experiences. I'm sorry that this all happened to ruin a good relationship but I'm glad that you can see a positive light on it all. Keep it up!!

Ah, the one night stand!  It’s what growing up is all about…or is that experimenting with strange new mind altering chemicals?  I can never remember.  My point being…uh, crap, I knew I had a point…

As far as having my boyfriend 'cheat' on me, yeah it's happened before, but my experience wasn't as extreme as your's. I'm really sorry! You're a great writer, so just promise to keep on writing and I think you'll make out alright in the end. (no pun intended...) Peace out!

Hey yes well hi........i was cheated on and it was one of the worst downfalls of my life. Now anyway,the poem was nice. But i read a comment that somebody gave....that no man is worth your tears....and the one that is won't make you cry. I find that statement to be wrong. If you are in a relationship, you are bound to tear up sooner or later....its just a matter of the level of sorrow. But anyway, hope you get a man who doesnt make you tear up too much.....adios

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.
