Cruising along the freeway, No care in the world, Hitting a 90 , flying with the birds, I look in my mirror, Good, no cops in the rear, Flying past the old folks, Ignoring their angry looks, Popping a smile, As I think about it for a while, Suddenly out of nowhere I sight, Ahead of me a bunch of flashing red lights, As I hit the gas and come to a slow, This is where my journey hits a major blow. Ronil (What I say I live by and what I live by is what I create). |

Yeah..this is a great poem..I liked the rhyming, and the words..but like Erin, I'm curious to know what the last line means.. "Controlling my feelings for too long.... And forcing our darkest souls to unfold... And pushing us into self-destruction...." *~Muse*~ |

I have acheived my goal. Leave the reader to guess the ending. HAHA. Ronil (What I say I live by and what I live by is what I create). |

But is it not fun for you as a reader to choose the ending anyway you like? Ronil (What I say I live by and what I live by is what I create). |

Good suspenseful ending Xeonox! Keep us guessing, as it's up to the readers own interpretation. I've done that in a few poems too. Me? I prefer to interpret this as a message to "Drive safely", because for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Crash ... ticket? You made us think ... either way ... good suspense! Best wishes, /Kit |
