And Turned My Heart Once in a great while something beautiful comes along and it happened when you came into my life. I say I "feel" more than anyone has a right to. You say we both "feel" so strongly and that's why we still love, many miles apart. Though time has passed, never will we forget our first words nor the looks, your eyes into mine and the thrill as we touched... You say you have found another, tears touch my cheeks as they pair up with thoughts and I dream about what could have been. The "if only's" "why didn't I's" "how come you's" all swirling along with stories we shared, of hurts, of love, desires, passions... jokes you told to cheer me up, real "happenings" of mine that could have been jokes, and you turned my heart... As you tell me about her I say she sounds "sweet" that "I am here for you, always" wishing you the best and hoping it works out... Answering "she is", you say you love me for saying that, and you hope it does, too. Yet if it doesn't for any reason... you are coming after me. And no matter what we shall remain GREAT FRIENDS ALWAYS... as "you turn my heart". M 3*9*00 *although it didn't turn out that way, as soon as she met me and realized we were very good friends...she made him end the first friendship I ever had on here...sighing...as that friendship meant a lot to me. Hey Mmoonchild ... well , been there done that. Take heart in the fact that at least u still have all those sweet memories to keep. I really enjoyed your poem though ... Verve...no worries...it was the strangest thing to be told one day you would be friends "forever" after 2 years and then the very next day to be deleted from his life... Hardrock...I am fine...this was just the first example of a lesson in "virtuality"...a hard one at that.. ~~soft smiles and hugs to the both of you Maureen |

Linda, thank you very much whether reality or virtual....every relationship is real in our mind and can be wonderful or end up hurting...but if you don't take that chance you will never know which it will become. ~~soft smiles Maureen |

M, beautifully worded expression of your sadness. I cannot ever understand how someone can delete you like that, Strangely, this happened with my ex husband, we had a very congenial breakup, were very good friends, and the new woman didn't like it at all. So, abruptly deleted. Not right. I know we have all been guilty of this to some degree, but I really try to keep up my friendships,and my promises. So hard. And yes, an online freind can mean just as much as an in person friend. No question about it. Take care Catalinamoon |

CMoon..yes I agree with all you said...and that is awful to be deleted from an x if you were in fairly good terms to begin with..although that is more the problem of the x than of the new Mrs...just takes some guts on his part. ~~soft hugs MMoon |
