WHY MUST LOVE DIE - NOBODY? I saw love dying in his eyes today! The love that was the sweetest melody yesterday, It was a never-ending excitement, Life was sheer enchantment, Each moment gave birth to a new thrill, Life was a sheer dancing drill, Suddenly today I saw him drawn to distant shores, Life became a drudging chore, Suddenly spontaneity was lost, Mutual compassion and care was no more, His heart never reached out to me like before, Erasing memories of our past his soul flew afar, I was struck with shock! How could love suddenly stall? Was it the death of a dream Nobody? Or the only tangible reality I knew? Abha |
