Evil Spirits Let’s exorcise The demon That gnaws away Your dreams Let’s fill your mind With beauty visions Until that demon screams Let’s exorcise The devil That eats away Your hope Let’s fill your heart With joyous love Until that devil chokes And when these vicious fiends Scrabble blindly on the floor We’ll catch them in a honey jar And throw them out the door Lotharingia "Dreams are life, reality, creation" Miguel de Unanumo |

I like this piece, nice imagery. Looks like I'll have to get some honey jars! |

I love the concept of doing something, and then finishing it off like you did, very creative!!! Loved it!! The fragrance always stays in the hand that gives the rose...--Hada Bejar |

wish I had the power to take control of all my demons. Great poem. Ronil (What I say I live by and what I live by is what I create). |

Spitfire, Deb, Xeonox, Magebeast, THANKS Hardrock, I wish I could! Ian, you have to make sure there's still some honey in the jar. The demons don't like sweet things. We want them to get stuck in sweetness, don't we? Alan, What string in what bow? Can a bow have several strings? Am I dim? Have I missed something? Uta...I really enjoyed this one. Very, very good! Poetry is the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings: it takes its origin from emotion recollected in tranquility. -William Wordsworth- |

How wonderful if all "demons" could be dealt with in this way. I really enjoyed this piece, especially the "solution" at the end. Linda |
