-I work at a drive-thru(beverage)- she arrives within a car filled with smoke as her four kids begin to choke she needs a 12 pack and a pack of belair her kids choke as they swear how much, she wonders, will it cost to roll her joint as her kids want to sniff the air should i rest my point 12 years later her kids want beer they haven't seen their mother in over a year yet every day she needs an easy-wider and needs it to be free her kids will never be the wiser and won't hear it from me he arrives with pure hatred in his eyes as his wounded child cries he needs some beer, by this he swears the smell of fresh blood in the air he wonders how much it costs to dull his loss the violence reaches its point 10 years later his grandson cries as his dad tries to make his point sometimes i wish they would just drive through J.L. Koehler This is only my second post, I know it's kind of rough, but if it has made you feel any emotion I guess it has served its purpose. |

CD...there is such truth in this vivid picture of a segment of our society. Just this past Wednesday night I stopped a 10-year old kid at a carnival, walking with his mother, and smoking. I asked his mother why she let her son do that. Her reply, "Hell, he buys his own...he ain't smokin' mine, so I don't give a s***". I'll be seeing him again when he's older. Nice read. Hardrock |
