I figured I'd post one on a lighter note, and give the anger a bit of a rest. I feel for you, as no other never hath the heart's sweet song sung as loud, nor tore so deeply as with now. I see the face, and hear the voice and within me the torrent rages, slashing, striking. And yet I hold the mask never soften, not show the inner happiness that mere presence provides. I dare not let the walls come down and let the walls show even a crack, lest I give away that I would ever interfere... I wish that I could express the inner storm of emotion. I know, however, thine heart is another's and to simply show the edge of such feelings would be to start the gap between us, and in the end destroy me more, more then when I see you with another. |

You have a new fan here, I LOVE your poems. They have a lyrical quality while still carrying such deep thoughts. They remind me a little of the poets Shelley and Keats. Not that I'm an experts on either of them, but from that time period, anyway. Just great work! |

A lighter note, huh? So what's the heavier note, then? Seriously, though, this is seriously good(repetition intended ). You describe this horrible feeling so well here. Very well done! Lotharingia "Dreams are life, reality, creation" Miguel de Unanumo |
