If you go into the wood today Beware the fox Beware the bear And always, child, Remember this: Trust not the wolf Though he smiles with his eyes His teeth are there To bite you When you go into the wood today Beware the fox Beware the bear And always, child, Remember this: Trust not the woodsman Though he smiles with his eyes..... You know what he will do To a little girl like you Beware! |

So this is Little "Wren" Riding Hood? Great adaptation with a serious message. And yes, I got chills too. We do have to beware, not just the obvious danger, but sometimes also those who pretend to be friends. Brilliant! Beware the woodsman indeed, for the greatest fiend comes in human guise (no offence to woodsmen, of course, I know you're not all like that !). Great poem, Wren!!! Lotharingia "Dreams are life, reality, creation" Miguel de Unanumo |
