I close my eyes, and hide in darkness.... Trying to hide from the pain.... Pain of living, feeling as I do.... Pain of feeling like she wouldn't care.... If she knew the Pain I'm in.... My Pain...Her Pain, watching him slip away.... Darkness surrounds me Cutting me off from the world.... I feel even more lonely Even more afraid. I open my eyes, hoping that the sunlight Will chase away the shadows Instead, it just makes me cry. |

This is extremely intense. You are talking about two people, maybe mum and dad, witnessing their child passing away, and the desperate emptiness that is felt at such a time? I hope you are not talking about personal experience, that would be such a tragedy! Lotharingia "For God's sake, he's a poet. Poets are meant to feel miserable. Otherwise, what the hell are they here for? What are they going to write about?" Tom Holland |

~"I open my eyes, hoping that the sunlight Will chase away the shadows Instead, it just makes me cry",...oh my,...how very dismal. Wonderfully expressed. Be well you. *Peace. |
