Unheard voice...
  Unseen face...
    Unfelt touch...

And you think you know me,
Simply because you are reading.

Barely deciphering what is before you,
Never really seeing, touching, or hearing.

Across the gateway of my heart,
I wrote "No Thoroughfare!!"
But love came laughing by and
Cried "I enter everywhere!!!"

See, 'sactly it. Most look at the cover thinking that it's the book. What many never realize are the amazing depths hidden twixt the lines of the pages inside.

Well done short but tells the tale.

this reminds me of my geography teacher who would always reprimind good-naturedly"We always look but do we see?"

like the sentiments here...contains so much truth..we think we know somebody but do we really?
