Dream Seeker by:Krissie S. Elbows on a windowsill, Round eyes turned at the sky. A forgotten cigarette burning, Longing released by sighs. Melancholy aching, Words needing to be said. Promises never spoken, A heart foolishly led. Please remind me gently, Please smile against my cheek. Moods are easily damaged. Such things are often weak. Don't look at me like other girls, Handle me with taste. I'm denim and sneakers, too! Not all pearls and lace. I'm thinking of the consequece, Breathing whims of yours till dawn. It's a war fought for your heart! Lines crossed, long ago drawn. I'll choose my battles carefully, Victories to be won. Though my courage starts to ebb, With the coming of the sun. Traces of chance encounters, Photographs of memories missed. Tears for stars and eyelashes, One for each one on which I wished. Last thoughts through shadows waning, Thoughts I hope you'd keep. Something to satisy my dream seek, Till it seeks it's own through sleep. "I'm sorry for telling u love was unnecessary... making u lose ur way. I'm sure I'll be as sad as u feel." ~Touch and Go |
