How much do you dare to love me? (Oh yes, I'm worth it) You want me, I know. It's no small thing, our desire; our chemical attraction, the fever we have for eachother. But do you dare to love me a little? Sexuality is no threat, continuity can be maintained. Status quo a-ok. I know I'm supposed to be your goodtime girl. But what happens if you love me? |

Cat...I wish I knew, but men are such one-celled creatures...usually it's all or nothing with us. Your poem is sure to cause some serious thought. Hardrock |

Ahhh... a god question indeed. Such a dangerous, yet compelling thing, that "L" word... A tough one to reach, a tough one to hold. Perhaps easier to ask the question, than to answer! |

Oh I loved this! and it reminded me so much of the song..I fooled around and fell in love...must of been through about a million girls, loved them and leave them alone...ok I won't sing it, but oh how true...love is not always the plan but it happens for sure. This one get yous thinking. |

Good questions indeed. Very well put! Lotharingia "For God's sake, he's a poet. Poets are meant to feel miserable. Otherwise, what the hell are they here for? What are they going to write about?" Tom Holland |

I was in a realashonship like that once and I dared to ask the very same question....with bad results.... Anyway- enough about me, more about your great poem! I loved the way you expessed the tentitiveness and shakyness in the couples realahionship...becase without love, everything falls apart! Great poem -Wren |
