Spirit oh spirit Come back to me Who said You could fly off free? Left me alone Cold, and bared to all What you left is a shell Washed up on a shore. Are you flying free In some paradise? Or are you busy somewhere Scurrying like mice? Oh spirit, my friend, You are me, and I you Two, but one, together Shining a brilliant hue. Without you, no delights No life, like death My soul, my spirit You are gone, I am bereft. |

Good work! Liked this one very much. Poetry is the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings: it takes its origin from emotion recollected in tranquility. -William Wordsworth- |

Yet another beautiful poem, tara. And terribly sad. *sniff* I have been missing you, by the way. Lotharingia "For God's sake, he's a poet. Poets are meant to feel miserable. Otherwise, what the hell are they here for? What are they going to write about?" Tom Holland |

Your spirit is there, it will never completely desert you..(maybe it is on a little vacation..) Take care "If a man moves you to feel like a woman, the least you can do is let him." Merrit Malloy |
