Teardrops on my window, others call it rain. Pouring harshly from the sky it personifies my pain. Howling wind and crackling light, the earth knows how I feel. I scream and shout, and wonder why my life is so unreal. Teardrops on my window reminding me of you. God knows if I don't see you soon, my heart may split in two. |

Catalina... Well-said, and beautifully put! I can relate so well how rain can personify your mood! A great poem indeed! Cyndey "All that we see or seem, Is but a dream within a dream" Edgar Allan Poe |

~Cat,...I love the line...'the earth knows how I feel'. *Sigh*,...I think it listens to me,...I think it speaks to me....I think you're right. Teardrops, raindrops,... if you just sit a minute and think about that word Teardrops,...think of how sadly beautiful they are. An actual secretion from a feeling...uuumm,..ok,..I'm going a little deep but your poem has just got me going. Loved it even though I wish the speaker wasn't hurting. Take care. *Peace. |

This one is fantastic, cat. I'm really impressed! Oh, your name also includes the cats you love (I love them too). I'm a bit slow and only just noticed that, sorry to ramble! catalinamoon....excellent, really enjoyed this one. I am well acquainted with teardrops. Poetry is the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings: it takes its origin from emotion recollected in tranquility. -William Wordsworth- |

i'm so sorry that you feel that way right now. I enjoyed the poem though. I guess we write our best when it really is heart felt. |

Beautifully crafted poem catalina. I loved it. You really caught the terrible sadness of these feelings in a very atmospheric way. Well done! Ällän |
