Didn't Want But Did I don't want to write about where I am right now. I don't want you to care, to share and flair your skintight jeans. I don't want you to hear me cry. Don't want you to know why, or believe, deceive. I don't want you to see my bruises, don't want you to fall, to stall on love. I don't want you to tenderize me, polish the edges from their rough. I do want you to fasten the loops, and take the troops and go. I do want you to escape my wrath, I've burnt my path, my stained road. I do want you to release the passion, in it's hottest fashion, to the sky, to the sky. I do want you to grin with the munchkins by the sea, it's me, this time, it's me...set you free. I do want selfish fish for dinner and tickles in the grass. But it was me. Who didn't want but did. |

Packs a wallop Spitfire. Sure does. Yep! Lots of resolution and emotion in there. Yep! Yep! And I liked it a whole bunch...yep! yep! yep! "But it was me who didn't want and did." I think that says it for eveyone. jwesley |

Well, as usual, I love your stuff. "I've burnt my path, my stained road", what a great line. I think we are both having some similar things happening..Thanks for reading all my poems, too. ![]() Catalinamoon "If a man moves you to feel like a woman, the least you can do is let him." Merrit Malloy |

I was keen on that line, too. And the others as well, of course! I love the idea behind the poem, doing something you know you shouldn't. I can relate to that!
