Then, as if the next breath he drew would be his last he looked at her perfected, disillusioned face and could see the memoirs of her past the years that went by much too fast She gazed back at him and in her eyes reflected a heart that under her heated stare would melt like ice and quickly die he surrendered hopeful, then and there. They die tonight, and though they both know it, they do nothing to stop, and do not show it, she sadly asks him to share her hearst, he agrees, and together they share their first kiss and loving, warm embrace, and gaze upon each others face as the sea sweeps upon them like a thief in the night, They die without putting up a fight. |

Interesting (and very dark) poem Chibi. It reminded me of a song by a band called The Blue Oyster Cult called 'Don't Fear The Reaper' - one of my all-time favourite tracks. I liked this - a gothic masterpiece... ![]() |
