Ok, so I am a little out of it this week. LOL. Just insert anywhere into the other poem.. Good lord, I forgot the worst of all, the day lovers delight. The hearts, the flowers, all the love, serves reminder of my plight. St. Paddy's day, that ones ok, no pressure to be loved. Just down a cold green beer or two and wallow in the fun. Easter used to be alright till my Grandpa died that day. Now chocolate bunnies, and Jesus rising, can't stop my need to cry. Memorial day just makes me sad, the sense of loss if great. So many lives, so many loves destroyed through greed and hate. And if you live in Southern Cal You'll add another one. Cinco de Mayo, big fiesta, but without a patner, you are done. All these days have good and bad, I'm not really a scrooge. But those of us without true love We are the ones who lose.. |

To Jeremiah, not to worry, I am fine. Just realized how many I missed in the first one when you were teasing me. Hardrock, the first one here is valentines day, what other hearts and flowers days are there? Unless theres one I don't know about, which would not surprise me.. |
