THE DAGGER IN MY HEART: The dagger in my heart As a thorn in my side You, me, apart Nothing, though I tried Promises, vows Made lovingly in truth So tell me, then, how Can you do what you do? How can you take away The one thing that made sense Now all that remains Is me from this day hence Love deepened from a restart But your love for me has died The dagger in my heart As a thorn in my side. |

It's strange when you read poems that relate to so well it seems as though you could have written them yourself. Although I don't think mine would turn out so well...this was beautiful sgreybe....a perfect expression of your emotions. Well done. D.E. Listen to your heart for it knows the way even when you don't. ~*Angel of Darkness*~ |
