~*Do You Feel It, Too?(A Dream)*~ by: Krissie S. Walking down a dark street. Cold wind drifting across my lips, Whispering forbidden dreams in my ears. A little mystery to taste... Black fog curling around my feet, Spreading across my way. Welcoming me with the breath of night. A pale moonbeam points out my direction. Till I reach the edge of nothing. Where the black meets regret. And over that edge I peer down, And wonder how far I'd fall... Or if I've already fallen... Then I sink to the bottom, Where nothing lives, Only remembers. A gentle hand holding up a shamed and broken face. A quivering lip left alone to cry. A confused heart... Take me away from this place, From the memories of something that never really happened. Sorry sounds so much like sorrow... "I'm sorry for telling u love was unnecessary... making u lose ur way. I'm sure I'll be as sad as u feel." ~Touch and Go |

This is a beautiful poem. Sad, but beautiful. How well you express the feeling of standing at the edge of the abyss! I hope you are OK, though! Look after yourself! Lotharingia "For God's sake, he's a poet. Poets are meant to feel miserable. Otherwise, what the hell are they here for? What are they going to write about?" Tom Holland |

Very good read, Krissi. Enjoyed it. Especially the lines, "where nothing lives, only remembers". It captures the essence of darkness so well. Hardrock |

Krissi, this one really struck me. What a feeling that is, living on memory, and nothing else. And the imagery was glorious. Catalinamoon |
