The Sun is my worst enemy, my body rejecting it, but my mind sees its beauty, I peek through the window...remembering the warm glow on my skin The rain is my friend, the clouds roll in to protect me from harm, allowing me to be part of the outside world..I create my own rainbows..I still make a wish For each day it rains, that is my sunshine, my senses are sharpened, I listen carefully to their message.. There are no teardrops, just raindrops, washing away the pain and cleansing my soul |

~Wow Deborah1,...a most interesting piece here. Sometimes the rain is beautiful to me,...and sometimes it saddens my soul. This poem you've written is making me think of all the different things that I find beauty and pain in. Thanks for posting. *Peace. |

there is beauty throughout nature, be it in the sunshine, the rain, or anything else. this poem is really great...personally i love to play in the rain.  |

Very interesting structure - and the comparisons of the sun with the rain - very original. Is it that you treat the rain as a veil to hide the sunshine - a mask to cover an inner desire for the sunshine? Well written. Deepak |
