I've felt this way a thousand times, but I've drawn the conclusion we have to be the person we want to be on our own not want or expect anyone to help us be this way.
Having someone who does bring out the best in you is definitely an added bonus though. Great work

What you described is the little kid in everyone, that little kid that wants their mommy/daddy to make things better... but we all know we can't be that little kid and we must be strong to do things on our own. Nice poem.
