I lay down in bed at night, Thinking of the tears I cry. I dream of dreadful woe and plight, I have no answer…. why? The images I’ve seen in you, Have come back to haunt my mind. These images I see anew, And still, no answer I find. The dreams I dream disturb my mind, They rack my soul with torment so Hideous, my heart they grind. The answer I still do not know. “Why me?” I ask, and weep again. “What deed hath I done and how Do I rate this dreadful pain, Where is my answer, now?” Terrible scenes, and horrid things Assail my subconscious brain. These happenings, these piercing rings Bring no answer, again. “The world is lost!” I loudly exclaim. “I shall not reach much higher.” The answer, though still the same, I long after, I desire. I lay down in bed at night, I have no answer…. why? I dream of dreadful woe and plight. Thinking of the tears, I cry |

Jeffyf, I really liked this one. Where ARE our answers? Very well described... this is a good one!  *Always do right. This will gratify some people and astonish the rest.* |

Very well written! Very deep yet confuses the mind somewhat. Ohhhhhhh them unanswered questions! But then again sometimes its best not to really know the answers. Well at least for me Write on, Mags No person is worth your tears, and the only one that is ...... will never make you cry |

I agree with DKW such deep musings you have. I suppose all I can say is 'YOU have to be the change you wish to see in the world!!' In other words, you fix the faults that you can, and for those that are unfixable you learn from them and move on. No one deserves pain, nor is it always retribution for something you have done to someone etc. All you can do is move on with a firm resolve... *hugs* Isis *The heart of education is the education of the heart...* ~Isis~~Sovereign of the Spirit. |

This was completely sad......made me feel all down. Good job on the poem, it's wonderfully written.  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. I'm in love with my shadow I admire it daily |
