How much longer do we play this game? Love's hypocrisy drives me insane Walking the wire held by your hands Dancing through fire of your demands Do you think I pause for caution's sake? Unable to give? Destined to take? Just one moment, see through my eyes Choices I make unravel lives Your heart's at stake, I understand The pain eclipses passion's plan To hesitate and risk losing all Yet, would you catch me, should I fall? So much potential you have explained Is it more to lose or less to gain? So, please forgive a wavering soul For seeking that which makes it whole Sheila Life is a journey.. not a destination.. - unknown |
