Dark Fingers I can feel them, inching near On my neck and in my hair; I can feel them crawling, Inching, crawling, itching me. Dark fingers of despair reach Through the shadowy breach; I can feel them touching, Crawling, itching, touching me. In my mind, there’s too much And I can’t bare one more touch; I can feel them entering, Coming, crawling, entering me. Daylight hours wan to night Lost within nocturnal fright; Fingers, fingers, Hell’s own hand, Inching, crawling, itching, touching me. Joann Renee' Muszynski 12/07/00 |

i don't know what it's about, but i really liked it. it has marvelous rhythm and the words are all perfectly placed, which is far far beyond me,lol, possibly because i don't really have any idea what i'm doing when writing poetry. but anyhow, very well done =] sam "Though thy crest be shorn and shaven, thou "i said" art sure no craven."
