The view is of sunshine
late afternoon spring susnshine
the sky of clearest blue
the trees of cleanest green
It is if nature is loving
and holding all close
and making life truly beautiful

I long to be in that sunshine
feeling the warmth on my back
with a bounce in my step
and the joy in my heart.
But I am trapped in this room
with the nature outside
prevented fromfeeling the love.

I have felt that warmth on my back
even when nature has turned
sunshine came from your smile
and the love from your heart
but you have gone out the door
I see you through the window
I wish I was with you in the spring sunshine

kevin..well done.  It has a kind of sad, but not really sad "feel" to it.  I enjoyed it.  Hardrock

well written with subtle emotions threading through the lines. Good imagery. Enjoyed it.

With the word, I am mighty, with the pen I am free..

Hi Kevin, I enjoyed your poem also. It has that feeling of confusion within emotions.
