A Sea of New You reigned upon my thoughts today as Wynter breezes stilled. The cold had turned the rain of myst to dustings on the sill. Pressed upon the window, pained my eyes beheld their sight. Symmetrical each imprint was they left their melting, white. Feathered softly floating down, large in size, they came. Cooling in their beauty yet warming, as they tamed The hearts of all the children those in "memory awe" Who reached to touch, delighting in the Wynter White in "fall". Out the door to trace new steps we left the old behind, the skies were filled with wonderment cleansing sad of mind. Refreshed, I felt as hand in hand the kisses reigned this way, A sea of new to drift upon as snowflakes fell today. ~Wynter Bliss "The worst prison would be a closed heart". ...Pope John Paul II |

This is one of those poems I wish I could have written. Great work. Ronil (The sweet sound of summer sends serenity through my soul searching for that evermore solitude.) |

I hated winter until I read this! Now I just wish I had someone to walk hand in hand with then maybe it wouldn't seem so cold. Thanks for writing this and showing me that snow isn't so bad after all. Jeremy "Those little slices of death, how I loathe them." -Edgar Allen Poe |

Xeonox- I am sure you could have written it thank you ~Wynter Jeremy- if you only knew how wonderful it is to take a midnight walk in soft falling snow with the streetlights glowing and a warm hand to hold as you leave your prints behind...I just love it. And the funny thing Jeremy, is that you don't even feel the cold and the world is so peaceful too. ~Wynter...waiting now for that big snowfall to come and warm my heart "The worst prison would be a closed heart". ...Pope John Paul II |

This should go down as a classic nature poem. You almost made the snow sound wonderful again. I remember as a child, that wonderment, as it fell, and running out in the freshly fallen winter wonderland. (too bad all it means to me now is shoveling and sliding on the freeway) Greatly poetic, Miss Wynter.. Sandra |

beautiful beautiful poem!! i love snow,i love winter.People often scoff at me when i say that "aw you're just a kid wait till you have to shovel the stuff" I am just a kid,but i like to think i will always look forward to the beauty of winter no matter how much snow i have to shovel =] Loved your poem,it was trés merveilleux!! swamp "Though thy crest be shorn and shaven, thou "i said" art sure no craven." Ghastly grim and ancient raven, wandering from the nightly shore, tell me what |
