She does no good,
Makes no difference,
Obviously wrong,
Floating without purpose.

She can't fight no more,
Can't draw another breath,
For it will only bring pain,
The pain of her soul's death.

She won't listen to lies,
Can't be placated,
Sick of it all,
A life so dictated.

But she will struggle on
As we all must,
And live in fear,
As she watches her life turn to dust.

It crumbles all around her,
Even though she fights so hard,
She doubts her words of wisdom,
The strength of the inner bard.

Who is she?
She is in us all,
She deserves to be nutured,
Not allowed to fall.

I have to admit, to me a lot of your stuff has been hard to follow, but I liked this one.  It could be applied to "Who is he?" too.  I enjoyed reading this one.  It flowed very nicely and spoke volumes

Thanks you
Jeremy

I think she has an inner strength that will one day emerge and allow her to live the life she deserves.  She will make a difference, I know it.

Kept down by doubt, that voice inside us. Yes, I know what you mean, Isis. I listen to that voice too much. I need to tell her to be positive so I can get things done!

I agree with Jannel...that perseverance is so essential....so necessary to keep us going when we just don't have the fight left in us.  Well done.  Hardrock
