She does no good, Makes no difference, Obviously wrong, Floating without purpose. She can't fight no more, Can't draw another breath, For it will only bring pain, The pain of her soul's death. She won't listen to lies, Can't be placated, Sick of it all, A life so dictated. But she will struggle on As we all must, And live in fear, As she watches her life turn to dust. It crumbles all around her, Even though she fights so hard, She doubts her words of wisdom, The strength of the inner bard. Who is she? She is in us all, She deserves to be nutured, Not allowed to fall. *I believe every time you put your words to paper, you change. Each feeling is set free, and you may follow.....* ~Isis~~Sovereign of the Spirit. |
