On a late summer evening As I witness the demise of day And the manifestation of night I sit alone...at home Nothing feels right Yet nothing feels wrong Finally the unthinkable happens Complete silence..... No more hatred And no more violence Time suddenly seems to have stopped My life seems to advance slowly So slow, that it is as if I were dead Or maybe as if I were high Nothing no longer appears to be real I feel like I'm dreaming Because I don't hear myself screaming I feel as if I see myself through the eyes of another By this time....I no longer fear Darkness I yearn for it I crave the peace behind it The Beauty around it And the silence so much desired In this Poetically Romantic state of consciousness Several things are more clear It is then when I realize Being a loner is as bad or depressing The most beautiful part of all Is being able to conceive and perceive things In a way you could only dream of It is like having a buzz Without have taken a hit from a joint Complete silence and concentration is finally acheived...... An experience beyond reality Very few things can compare Words cannot define no illustrate entirely Warnings and Cautions do not exist Would you care to try? |

Great poem! Lol, I think you're describing self hypnosis. However, for me, I can laugh and the not stop laughing, and that's like taking a hit from a joint, hehehe |
