only time will tell... Today the bruises finally showed reddened, stinging, still too full of hurt to have drained into the purple, tell-all marks scrapes, cuts, align fingers keeping the mind's words from their escapement to the waiting parchment soon to be splattered with blood words aching from bewilderment wondering how it's come to this when never in a lifetime has it shown this ugly side of human cruelty wondering how to deal with derangement each move pulling her closer to a death either of life or commitment one or the other. only time will tell... "The worst prison would be a closed heart". ...Pope John Paul II |

A lot of depth in this one. Very captive writing. I liked this one a lot! I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. I hate your socks. I'd like to burn them! |

D_D- yes you are such a great friend...this actually was a very hard poem to write as I truthfully was in pain, physical pain...but I write my daily diary in poetry and this was just one more day in my life {{huggzz}} ~Wynter Rosebud- if anyone would have told me this could happen to me I would have denied the possibility...thank you Wizard- I am glad you felt it...I know I did thank you all for reading and responding ~Wynter< !signature--> "The worst prison would be a closed heart". ...Pope John Paul II [This message has been edited by nakdthoughts (edited 11-18-2000).] |

You wrote this very well Our greatest writing comes from a very real emotion. Take care. ~ Tara ~ "A poem should not mean, but be" - Archibald MacLeish |

Tara- thank you for reading, yes if I couldn't release by poetry I think I would be a hermit and hide from the world...it does help to write Sandra- from one moon to another, "things" will eventually work out, they have too James- "Time is on my side"..forgot who wrote and sang that (I am never good with titles and artists ...but it's true and when I am free I will fly my spirit in happiness once more. B_W_A- when a wing is broken, it takes only a little TLC and it can heal..don'tcha think? *smiles ~Wynter, chilled but looking forward to tomorrow...that's for you ~V~ "The worst prison would be a closed heart". ...Pope John Paul II |
