Bitter moon, bow your head and weep with me tonight Stretch your fingers 'cross the sky Cradle me in your light I've stared into a midnight pond abhorred unwelcomed sight Strangers eyes reflecting back Imprisoned by their plight Futility has found a home a passions desperate fight To win a heart that has been won by someone else this night Lifting arms in grief to bear I cry with all my might Bitter moon, bow your head weep with me tonight Sheila |

What an interesting poem you write. I enjoyed thinking about this one. Ronil (The sweet sound of summer sends serenity through my soul searching for that evermore solitude.) |

The title pulled me in and the poem lacked nothing either!! Sometimes the moon is a joyous thing almost seeming to celebrate your love and happiness with you. Other times he is a companion in your darkest hour. Beautiful work here hon.. Isis *I believe every time you put your words to paper, you change. Each feeling is set free, and you may follow.....* ~Isis~~Sovereign of the Spirit. |

This was a great poem! I love the moon it's one of my infatuations hehe....... Anyway the ryhme scheme was great. Keep it up! I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. I hate your socks. I'd like to burn them! |
