I'll try to hold onto this heart Just a little bit longer. And dont worry, You wont have to do anything...but let me believe that one day you would want MY heart. And I can float on in obliivian to the painful fact that You knew this whole time, And I'm a fool. But...to go back to that painless oblivian is impossible now. Because now I know. I love you, too much. I trusted you, too much. How could anyone have expected it to last? No one did...except me. And now i pay for that. I would try to hold onto this heart Just a little bit longer. But I can't. It's over. You dont care.... no one cares. Except me. I guess this is more of a song than a poem...tell me what you think : ) love, Ipek |

Thank you all for your kind words..this is the first time i've ever posted anything i've written on a public forum like this, and just knowing that some of u can relate to my poem...or like it...means a lot to me. In 6 minutes it'll be my birthday, and the person who this poem is written about..i dont want to face him...but i digress  Again, thank for taking the time to read my poem, you have no idea how much that means to me.
