Inside A Nightmare A while ago I was asked by one Did I dream, and if so, was it coloured. My answer to him, was my dream flow had stopped. Lost in memory, my life became duller. The clouds had escaped their jailor in skies, Surrounding my days with their shadows. As fear took it's hold, the nightmares began, And continued to keep me in tow. Couldn't rise in the morning, couldn't dream in the night, Each day was a mare-ish find. This one who was asking, a treasure to hold. He has given me comfort and shine. ~Wynter "can a sun shine always inside a poet's nightmare" from carolinadreams *sorry that I am writing so much today, but I think I have the flu and every 3 hrs, I awake and don't know what to do with myself...so I read here and get inspired. |

Don't apologise for writing...every word releases feelings longing to be free...you are a poet and this is your craft. Some people can stand up and scream to relieve frustrations, pain, hurt...I use words to vent...the pen is my sword...as is yours...and don't ever stop. Tossing words like wishful coins into the deep well of an open heart. R. fox |

Thank you Ron, I know they aren't my best, but I am about to go nuts here...when your mind is workable and your body resists all tempations to move, it's a struggle. Nice to be bantering back and forth as my sun sets and the dark is beginning to blanket me once more. ~Wynter< !signature--> "The worst prison would be a closed heart". ...Pope John Paul II [This message has been edited by nakdthoughts (edited 11-05-2000).] |

Wynters blanket will lay to rest Silent dreams of ivory white Pure and serene As indigo shadows of evergreens Dappled the blue tinted drifts A pale silver moon settles quietly Within the ebony cape of the heavens As sleep settles upon her weary eyes Midnights rainbow glows. feel well. inside the factor of last lost themes lives on creme dreamt dreams shallow scallions of scolded young men enjoy dazzling misleading pens we weren't full so much as to desire yet we could draw our own ire we staved off the feeling within we began again J.L. Koehler |

Seems all things happen for a reason, and certainly believe in your instincts Maureen. I enjoyed this - had not read it before. Your mind was working and your body shut down, and up here I have the opposite problem Season's Greetings to you. |
