The Shores of Alone

More depressed ramblings...

Over-
How do I believe it
or understand?
Just
over-
no preamble.
Without any notice
my dreams were dumped
unceremoniously
at your feet,
you stepped all over them
and it was
over-
Our enduring passion,
mutual need,
caring, friendship,
love.
Over-
and now I am to pretend
it was never
real.
Now, you treat me
as though I really died
that day.
Maybe I did.
How can you
remove yourself from me
as though I did some wrong
to you?
As though we never
had anything
at all?
Just
over-
because you decided.
The problem is,
I was never consulted
and I
do not agree.
Nothing
is over
for me...

Parallel lives..indeed.  This is incredible...your words once again striking me like lightening.  So powerful and true to the pain in my life.

Are you sure we just weren't dating the same guy???  lol

depressed, definitely.. ramblings, never! Without letting these out, who can heal? You're honesty is refreshing...resounding what we all would like to say in this situation. Once again, great job!

Sandra...as I have been told many times...we must move on...although I  can tell you I am dragging both my feet...

What can you do? I have no idea myself... people come and go but some leave those big prints all over our hearts and we can find the strendth to wipe them out...
Hope yopu'll find the strength.

I hope you get through this......no rambling done, just expression at its best!!

I realize that a lot of us poets have been through hard times.......I think if there ever was a place to come to for help it'd be right here......

All I have to say is let it out - it wants out, don't stop it.
