Layer upon layer upon layer Stacking Lies Black upon black upon black Desolate Emptiness Darkness enveloping the darkness of darkness Barren Hopelessness Pieces among pieces of pieces Shattered Shards Tears drowning tears drowning tears Alone Loveless Tossing words like wishful coins into the deep well of an open heart. Wow - melodramatic in some ways - yet I felt this way for about half an hour a few days ago. Now, I think it's the emptiness that is the worst part, and remains. There is a safety in that darkness though. Well done Ron. K< !signature--> The wind shifts like this: Like a human without illusions... This is how the wind shifts: Like a human, heavy and heavy, Who does not care. W.S. [This message has been edited by Severn (edited 11-01-2000).] |

I think there are many that feel this desolation time and again.. You've expressed this feeling so completely, without the complication of meaningless words... Great job! Sheila |
