The Shores of Alone

Slinking through the alley
I seek them,
the evil destroyers,
those who took me
callously
and threw me aside.
Tonight
they shall know
my pain,
tonight
they shall know
my blood,
Retribution
can be as impressive
as a betraying body drained
of its blackest heart,
or as simple
as a whisper
on the wind..
"Beware..
karma may strike
when you least
expect,
when you sit upon your throne of contentment,
when you bask in your security,
when you laugh at how easily you fooled me..
Beware.."
