I'm going to have to shut the door, I don't want to, But I'm gonna have to, There's nothing more I can do. I'm going to have to shut down, Kill the spirit - so loved and so admired, I'm merely a clown, Performing and always being chided. For a while I'll hang the 'vacancy' sign, For you'll find no-one within, You can witness my declines, The darker powers always win. I'm going to have to leave for a while Emotionally go far, far away, They might not understand, But I haven't the will nor the courage to stay. Can't fight anymore, No longer willing to hope or pretend, I can see it just up ahead, A lifeless, forboding end. Can't laugh or smile, Nothing to look forward to, No reason to get up in the morning, I doubt there is anything anyone can do. So mourn the spirit you once knew, Mourn this soullless entity of me, No reasons, no cause, no justice, No happiness meant for me. I'm not meant to know happiness Not meant to laugh, sing or play, My destiny unending heartache, Today, tomorrow and every day ....... *Good will towards all beings is the highest religion* ~Isis~Goddess~~Sovereign of the Spirit~ |

Cat *love to you* that is the best compliment I have had for a while. You are right I am those things, and won't shut down.
