There is nothing left For you to see I have lost my mind In your reality I moved too fast You went too slow You left too soon My fault, I know You placed the bet I held the dice And now my heart Will pay the price If I only had Just one more night I could change everything And make it alright I would just kiss you I know all the right moves I’ve mastered the game I know when to lose I would just hold you I know what to say I just can't figure out How to walk away… "And I still believe you can never have too much fiction because reality is such a bore..." - REA |

Oh Beth, I know this feeling exactly. If only I could have one more chance. But you know, as I think of it, I could have done nothing more than I did. Loved more? Impossible. Loved better? I don't see how. Only thing I would have changed on my part, is a little less crying in front of him.. Take care. You will let go someday, as I will. Sandra |

Beth, I was going to pull a stanza out of this that I felt the most... but I couldn't... The whole poem: parts of my life either recieving or giving. My heart goes out to you tonight, knowing how this hurts, and having cried those same tears. Logic tells us that time will heal everything... but we both know that time means nothing to pain, only the urgency of now. Hugz my friend, many and gently. Chris |

Loved this! You wrote it so well. Take care. ~ Tara ~ "A poem should not mean, but be" - Archibald MacLeish |
