I have to face it - I'm addicted, Mentally, physically and emotionally, Addicted to so many things, Stemming from the roots of love. I would cross oceans to merely touch you, To bask in the prescense of your company, For my fingers to merely caress your face or hair, Absense indeed an Aphrodisiac for my soul. To see your whole being 'light up', To hear that laugh again, I'd cross oceans of time to merely 'know' you, My comrade, the other half of my soul, my friend. Longing to again live every part of the emotional sphere, Sharing highs and lows, Sharing secrets, Sharing how our lives may go. Knowing you alone understand, You comprehend the intricacies of me, You are always straight forward in all we say and do, Two souls united far beyond the understanding of you and me. I NEED you in my life, NEED your touch daily, NEED your body close to mine, You alone can save me. These feelings BURN inside me night and day, Nothing can change them And I pray they never go away, You, my love, are my God send. Can NEVER get enough, I'm so greedy when I'm around you, Wanting to CHERISH every moment, Every touch, every word because they come from you. To dream of something else at night, Other than you would be a treat, If I can ever accomplish that, It would be quite a feat. Wow, this really hits home for me!!! In my case, I sometimes believe that's it's not even addiction anymore... maybe some kind of obsession... Wow. I totally relate, amazing!
