I sit here in front of this screen so lonely tonight. I feel my heart aching for the love only you can give. You are my soulmate this I know I feel it in my bones. I just don't know if I can stand the loneliness I feel tonight. I have almost made it through this lonely day. I am holding on. I wish we could love each other freely and show the world how much we feel. I am not asking you to change your life for me I only need to know that you will always be there. When my world gets crazy It's to you I run. I feel so lonely tonight. I wonder if you feel the same? Are you thinking of me like I am of you? Do you feel the same for me as I have come to feel for you? Am I holding on to a pipedream or is this just as real to you? I just feel so lonely tonight...... Dee, this is so expressive. I have been doing the exact thing, sit in front of the computer, with this lonliness just about ripping a hole through me, and just don't know how to handle it. And forcing myself not to write to him, cause he doesn't want to hear it.. Life's great, hm? Sandra |

It seems as if the loneliness is intensified when we love someone and they are not responding the way we would like...harder than just being alone with no one in mind...sometimes it takes time for the admiration to build...hopefully he will welcome your love...James |

sometimes loneliness is different and in this poem I can tell it's a longing that is love, love for someone that you need to have so much that it makes you lonely for the next touch. Very sensuous |
