Dark Passions Poets Our Peers! We gather here in this place DARK PASSIONS is the space We've come here to write About life and it's plight Like vultures to the prey, We contemplate so often At what other poets have to say. Our lives portrayed out as a play, We read with intensity of others dismay. For here we came to voice similar pains, We sometimes think we sound insane? Emotions are raw as they seek to reach, A connection with others within their speech. Some of us in throws of sorrow somehow, We wonder how this will lift from our brow? Here we all meet, in this place of refuge to share. For we know there are others, who really do care! So dark passions, is really in our hearts indeed, It is forever planted, a strong rooted seed. We all can find a growth of new life here, Yes, amongst other poets who've become our peers. Our DARK passions are much the same you see Souls seeking through pen in hand To set us truly FREE! |
