-A Question- have you looked upon the leaves for a stable set of trees have you looked upon the wind for a chance to live again have you looked upon the sun for what has begun have you looked upon your heart for that start maybe today will shed some light maybe today yet not tonight maybe today the sun won't shine maybe today the clouds won't hide can you say that you never heard can you say you have no words can you say chance doesn't work can you say today is the worst has it all been for naught has it all been just to stay did it all just happen today J.L. This is a beautiful poem! Liked the rhyme schemes and stuff. I also liked the different points you made. Seems to convey a carpe deim[sp] / make the best of every day sort of attitude. This is one of those poems that depressed or bitter people should carry around with them, just to remind them of the other sides of life's story... |
