I noticed something different In the way she looked at me Her eyes were saddened and lonely No smiles throughout eternity She wanted me to save her To just carry her away She had no one to turn to Only me on this day But what can I do To chase away her tears To make her smile so brightly To vanish away her fears I wanted so badly to help her Yet I walked away, you see For this person I was looking at Was just a reflection of me No person is worth your tears, and the only one that is ...... will never make you cry |

Oh, another one here who understands that feeling. Great writing and so very true. How do you help yourself anyway, when you can't even listen to reason? Sandra |

Dark_Kisses, I enjoyed your poem, the content was poignant and hard to deal with, but it had a strong theme that carried it through and the meter was perfect. Be well Kethry Growth demands a temporary surrender of security. Gail Sheehy |
