Ice Queen He loved a girl, his queen of ice. Pink frosty mouth and cold-blue eyes, With frozen smile, indifferent gaze, With blank expression on her face. He loved her, she remained aloof. He sang to her, she wouldn't move And all he tried to keep her warm Nothing would melt her icy form. Upon his skin her chilly breath, He begged to feel her kiss of death And as he touched her curles of snow She burned him cold from head to toe. Once he gave up, he blamed all on Her heart - a chunk of frozen stone Thinking he saw right through the ice Blinded by love to realise... Her heart was vibrant but misplaced Sadly, it burned for someone else. Her frosty coat - none but disguise, She never was a queen of ice. Hi LM. This is cool all be it sad. I kinda feel sorry for the dude but know what it like to have your heart belong to another. It's not good for anybody involved. I'd say go where your heart leads you. And if he dosen't feel the same way remove him from you heart so that somebody else might have a chance. Great piece! Her heart - a chunk of frozen stone This makes me think of my best friend. For some reason just this line. Maybe cause I feel as if her heart is made of stone. She has been so cold hearted to me lately that I could write a book about it. LM Wow. This poem was just...awesome! (for lack of better words). It hits close to home, and it's sad how sometimes people mistake one thing for another. Very sad... Megs I was never one to patiently pick up broken fragments and glue them together again and tell myself that the mended whole was as good as new.
