today was too dark for these pale hands the same palms that touched the stars when they touched your skin I told you with aged tears that I can't hurt anymore today you stole away my innocence and tomorrow will be filled with my thoughts covered with thorns and sore eyes that know too much |

jennie may... this is a beautiful poem... very well written. it's more like the gift of life... i would say... as painful of heartbreaks are you always learn to live to go on...and that's life If all was light...then I would have never learnt the dark...from which such truth evolves from which evolves the light... Jennie May, you have a quality and gift for poetry...while this is sad, I'll be looking for more works on a lighter note. Well done! Sunshine ~~~Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see the shadow. Helen Keller ~~~ |

~Jennie May,...this poem makes me feel. It reads so softly in the beginning and then ends with such a harshness.....like lots of pain. Great writing. Take care. *Peace. |
