Help me God
to figure me out
What must I do
to end this loveless drought

I gave my heart away
and him I can't betray

the thought has crossed my mind
and I can find the time

But I would just run away
it's here I want to stay

But can't you make him see
what he must d to be part of me

He's forever on the go
He doesn't seem to know

I tell him what I need
But he just doesn't seem to see
How it has to be
to keep our family tree.
