This is dedicated to all the guys who've ever hurt a girl, emotionaly or otherwise. Heartbreak number one. She cries tears of sorrow, for her lover wants her no more. He watches without a thought, to him, she's just another (edited). She tries to think of what to do. He really doesn't care, he's tired of her and wants someone new. Why is this happening? I thought things were going well. Why is she still here? I'm sick of her, can't she tell? Heartbreak number two. She doesn't quite know where he is right now, or even if he's coming home. She waits with worry in her heart, and tears in her eyes, by the phone. He watches time pass slowly as he buys another round, looking all around the bar, easy lays can be found. He finds the nearest (edited), and finds the nearest bed. Not a single thought about his wife and children enter his head. A tear slowly drops down her face, and she knows she's lost him for good. A thought enters her mind that she never wished would. She'll pack up and leave tommorow, or she might leave tonight. She'll find herself a new life, and rid him totally of her sight. She looks up as he drags himself in, and falls face down on the floor, she gathers her children and clothing and heads out the door. There is a lesson to be learned here, about the way life tends to go, some guys just can't handle, the way love's supposed to go. < !signature--> EVEN ANGELS FALL. I've edited out a couple of potentially offensive words, because I think the poem over all has a lot of merit. Please remember that this isn't an attempt at inhibition of free speech, but rather a way to try and keep our home, a place where young children often visit, a place where everyone can feel welcome. I know that especially here, we write of dark/darker subjects than commonly found elsewhere. But that doesn't relieve our responsibility to our community to make them feel comfortable allowing their children, our children, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, etc. to visit. I really liked the way you expressed this poem...on behalf of the few good guys left...just like to say it will get better..remember when one door closes another always opens..sometimes you are blinded and have to feel your way to it....chin up....Greg |

This was good. But the one thing about it is that it really does happen. And that is sad that someone (guy or girl) would do that. I mean what is the point of marrying someone if you are gonna cheat on them. More money to waste for a divorce. Anyways sorry about that. You just made me think. Good work!!! *Falling in love is when you give someone a piece of your heart, falling out of love is when the piece doesnt fit* |

Your writing touches me...I have given a few heartbreaks and received a few and although I have only known the woman I am with now for a short period of time I am falling in love with her...love can be a risk...it takes two with equal feelings and commitment to build a relationship...thanks for sharing...James |
