Eternal Happiness

Happiness is a memory,
long forgotten, lost,
in a universe of feelings.
saddness and despair overtake happiness,
souls blacken, hearts break.
does anyone know the meaning of happiness?
so many want it,
but few experience it eternally.
we search our souls for the answer,
but are we asking the right question?
when we can't have it,
we fall into an ocean of darkness.
no one helps us, so we're left
to drown in our own heartache.
yet we don't talk or share our feelings.
it rips our hearts out
and tears them apart.
soon we're left,
with an empty soul.

Yes we are left with a dying soul
But without misery pain and sadness
we would not know what happiness is
Sometimes happiness is right in front of us and we are blind
However sometimes we must search it out in other places.
But remember to look inside
Great piece of work here loved it
