Last Night Last night we should have made love, but last night you seem to not care, you held your space and did not share. Is my physical attire not to your liking, do I not compliment you in a pleasing way? Am I stagnating in your eyes? Why I ask do you not care, I start before the sun and never finish before high midnight with my duties for you and always with you in the for front. What could it possibly be that keeps you from me. My insides are raging at your separateness that you have chosen, my heart does break at the sight of your deadness. How long do you think I must go on in this one-sided love affair? Tonight I think I will not be there, tonight I think I should not care and tomorrow I will not feel the loneliness of this one sided affair. BY, Cerenity Please take note that this was written a long time ago, and I thought of it because this is how im feeling, but I don't think the poem its self is that good, thank you. Cerenity... I tend to disagree with you I thought the poem was good. Obviously written from a lot of feeling... and when that happens sometimes it doesn't seem all that good... because we don't believe it perhaps expresses enough! The subject matter is hard to write about sometimes... you did it well Take care. ~ Tara ~ "A poem should not mean, but be" - Archibald MacLeish |

Hi Tara, Thank you so much for your kind words, your are right the subject matter is so hard to write about because it consumes my every waking minute with pain and confussion. Love, Cerenity "God doesn't have to be reminded that we exist. We have to be reminded that He exist!" (Writer Unknown) |

I know the feeling when you're with someone yet you feel all alone because they are not emotionally available. Take care..James |

I like this a lot, Cerenity. I think it is very heartfelt, and written very well also. Take care. It's a bad feeling to have, I know. Catalinamoon |

I do not judge, and I do not enjoy many poems. Yours left me with a sincere feeling. Whether it'd been time ago, or feeling again, you have the gift to paint feelings into words. If the past hasn't left y et, please, and I do beg continue to write and share. Peace, Love, and Happiness Forever |

This poem has great merit in its depth of feeling and the ideas conveyed. Seems like something my wife and I have been talking about lately... It has stirred thought and feeling in me, thanks.
