One Never Loved
(and yes, for those who know about my situation, it is about him...)

she gazes in his eyes
she feels happy inside
just being with him makes her feel content
for years of this, she has dreamt
but it isn't how it seems to be
for ever brief is her glee
he doesn't feel the same
this sad story told again
she thought he was sent from above
her heart aches from her unrequainted love
it always turns out like this
short lived is her bliss
she can never be happy long
why is she always wrong?
it comes as no surprise
her tears again she dries
for one never loved
again her affection away is shoved

Darkstar -- I am sorry to see that live has thrown you this obstacle. They say the most painful love is unrequited. Your poem relayed that very same message. Wonderful work, and hang in there Star.

Oh... Darkstar, I'm sorry you're sad, I can totaly relate to this... It really touched me because I've been in situations like this God knows how many times! Why can't I like somebody who likes me too??? Beautifully written, thank you for sharing.

Oh my!!..this is my situation too....why do we always love the ones who don't love us back...it does hurt..I just like to believe somewhere..someday..someone...and rest will go away....chin up....very well written...keep writing. Greg

I am so sorry that you are feeling this way. But life goes on. Eventually you will meet someone else who will make your heart melt. I know I finally found someone that did that to me after hurting for so long. Keep your head up things will get better soon enough.
